Eleanor and husband Dave won the Gaines medal for Good Sportsmanship twice and the Dog World Award twice also. Dave was also Show Chairman for over 25 years and Eleanor did trophies and hospitality too many times to count. They also superintendent the Dade County Fair dog shows for over 30 years. This event was strictly for the children and their dogs. Both were officers and very active in the Great Dane Club of South Florida and the Great Dane Club of America. Dave was a charter member of the Southeast Professional Stewards Association and a leader in the organization for many years.
